Human health and well-being are closely related to the state of the environment. Access to green and blue spaces provides important opportunities for recreation and also supports the well-being of the whole body.

The ecology of healthy living guides us to the exposures of the human body to an environment overloaded with industrial activities, during the life course, it offers a new perspective on how, this time, environmental and social factors affect the mechanisms of disease onset, as well as general well-being .

Despite ample evidence that exposure to certain chemicals can lead to certain diseases, current research methods and regulatory policies fail to address the chemical complexity of our world. To protect both current and future generations from the increasing number of chemicals polluting our environment, a systematic and agnostic approach is required. Healthy living ecology strives to capture the diversity and range of exposures, including synthetic chemicals, dietary constituents, psychosocial stressors, and physical factors, as well as the corresponding biological responses. Technological advances and the network as a science allow us to take the first steps towards a comprehensive assessment
